The Graduate Studies Division, under the Office of Academic Promotion and Registration, Chandrakasem Rajabhat University, plays a crucial role in supporting, promoting quality, and managing graduate-level education. Its key responsibilities are as follows:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Educational Services: This includes the management of student admissions and certification of qualifications, course registration, class/exam schedules, and the maintenance and updating of data for both faculty and students. It also encompasses the administration of various welfare services such as scholarships, library services, and access to the university's WiFi network.
- Academic Standards: This involves overseeing and enhancing the academic standards of graduate programs, coordinating faculty and curriculum development, offering guidance, and managing quality assurance for academic services. Additionally, it supports the development of students' English language skills in alignment with graduate-level standards.
- Theses/Independent Study: Focused on monitoring and ensuring the quality of students' research, this includes appointing faculty advisors, verifying qualifications, and conducting various examinations, such as comprehensive exams, qualification assessments, and thesis defenses. It also involves reviewing the final thesis format and checking for plagiarism.
- Graduate School Journal: Responsible for overseeing the submission of research articles, coordinating with editors, experts, and authors to ensure article quality according to standards. The department also manages the preparation and publication of articles via the Thai Journals Online (ThaiJo) platform.
- Document Management and Meetings: Responsible for handling internal and external official documents, drafting orders, regulations, and university policies, as well as organizing graduate-level meetings. This role also includes providing form distribution and information services for students, faculty, and external parties.
- Policy, Planning, Budgeting, and Finance: Involves developing strategic plans for graduate studies, managing the budget, and controlling expenditure to meet objectives. This includes overseeing procurement processes and auditing the university’s inventory.
- Information Technology and Public Relations: Provides IT support and consultation, develops the graduate studies website, and handles both internal and external public relations to disseminate information effectively within the organization.
Position: Educator
1. Educational Services
- Prepare promotional guides for student admissions and new student registration.
- Maintain student records and verify academic qualifications.
- Oversee the processes for academic suspension, withdrawal, transfer, and qualification certification.
- Compile statistics on student numbers, summarize graduates, and manage the list of those receiving honorary degrees.
- Manage academic scheduling processes, including the creation of academic calendars, class/teaching/exam schedules, academic planning, course registration, course offering and cancellation requests, credit transfers, make-up classes, changes in instructors, room assignments, and course add/drop requests.
- Maintain faculty information in the REG system.
- Support various skill-building activities at the graduate level.
- Oversee student welfare services, including scholarships, academic databases, library services, university email, and wireless internet (WiFi).
2. Academic Standards
- Oversee requests for changes in course instructors and program coordinators, and verify the qualifications of faculty members.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of academic programs on an annual basis, providing consultation and coordination with graduate programs and related faculties.
- Provide curriculum-related information for academic quality assurance and student admissions data, including recruitment plans, admission calendars, and reports on student admissions to the university.
- Promote the development of English language skills among graduate students to meet graduate-level standards.
3. Thesis/Independent Study
- Verify the qualifications of thesis advisors and thesis/exam committee members.
- Coordinate the submission of research proposals for ethical review in human research.
- Oversee examination processes, such as comprehensive exams, qualification exams, thesis proposal defense, and thesis defense.
- Review the format of theses and conduct plagiarism checks on thesis/independent study works.
4. Graduate School Journal Operations, Chandrakasem Rajabhat University
- Receive and collect academic/research articles, submitting them to the editorial board for consideration.
- Coordinate with authors for article revisions and payment of fees.
- Contact experts for article reviews, follow up on the review process, and notify authors to make revisions based on feedback.
- Process payments for article reviewers, and submit articles to the editorial board for review and to prepare the final content and layout for the journal issue.
- Manage the ThaiJo online journal system and prepare necessary information for system integration.

Position: General Administration Officer
1. Document Management and Graduate Studies Meetings
- Receive and send official correspondence both internally and externally through the electronic document management system (e-Document).
- Maintain and store documents, and draft/print official correspondence.
- Issue important academic documents for graduates of the graduate programs.
- Develop or revise university orders, regulations, rules, and announcements to align with graduate education standards.
- Compile personnel leave records and summarize executive attendance.
- Organize graduate-level meetings, including University Development Committee meetings, Graduate School Journal meetings, other committee meetings, training sessions, and seminars.
- Prepare performance reports for the Graduate Studies Division and coordinate with both internal and external departments.
- Provide document and request services to students, faculty, and external individuals.
2. Policy, Planning, Budgeting, and Procurement for Graduate Studies
- Collaborate in the development of strategic plans, operational plans, and financial plans for graduate studies.
- Plan and monitor the budget to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Oversee expenditure processes, such as teaching fees, examination fees, project supervision fees, and other allowances related to graduate education.
- Supervise purchasing, contract management, and verify documents related to expenditures, including inventory audits.
- Report on the financial and procurement management performance for graduate studies.
3. Information Technology and Public Relations
- Provide services and consultations on educational technology tools to faculty and students.
- Oversee and develop the website and other online systems for the Graduate Studies Division.
- Manage the public relations network of the division.
- Disseminate internal and external organizational information and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure effective communication and public relations.
